Exhibition of Petrykivka painting "Succession of Generations": a threefold perspective


Exhibition of Petrykivka painting "Succession of Generations" by Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine, Chairman of the Subject Commission of Specialization "Decorative and Applied Arts" of Dnipropetrovsk Professional Art College, Associate Professor of Dnipropetrovsk National University named after Oles Honchar, member of Dnipropetrovsk organization of Ukraine opened in the sights of our city and region.

April 1, 2021 at the Dnipropetrovsk Academic Regional Ukrainian Youth Theater. The exhibition presents works made by Petrykivka painting on various materials: canvas on cardboard, towels, scarves, wood painting. At the opening of the exhibition "Succession of Generations" 4th year students majoring in "Decorative and Applied Arts" held a master class on Petrykivka painting, everyone had the opportunity to take part in a master class and create their own drawings with Petrykivka painting.

April 27, 2021 in the Petrykivka Museum of Ethnography, Life and Folk Applied Arts of the village. Petrykivka. Along with the works of old masters, Tetyana Harkava and students of Dnipropetrovsk Vocational College of Arts and Art presented a modern Petrykivka painting made on takanin (scarves and towels) and a panel (canvas on cardboard).

April 30, 2021 in the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration. The exhibition featured household items painted with Petrykivka paintings, such as a table and bench, coffee tables, churches, fabric painting (towels and handkerchiefs), chests, maces, Easter eggs. Panels on Easter themes were also presented. The exhibition "Petrykivsky painting: succession of generations" was opened with the support of the deputy head of the regional state administration Gorb Olga Valeriyivna. We thank Olga Valerievna for fruitful cooperation and assistance in organizing the exhibition. Everyone has the opportunity to visit the exhibition until May 20, 2021.
