This year, the college has some special graduates. These are students who chose our institution during the first year of the full-scale invasion.
We are graduating students in 17 majors!
Think back to that fall of 2022. The world around them was in turmoil, uncertainty reigned, and these teenagers were deciding where to go to school. They were choosing their future at a time when it seemed that their planning horizon had narrowed to just a few hours.
Their college life was unlike any other: instead of noisy breaks, they ran down the stairs to shelters as sirens wailed. Instead of traditional lectures, they studied amid power outages. They searched for internet access in coffee shops and supermarkets. And sometimes, they even wrote their term papers by candlelight.
These students did not have a carefree youth; they grew up at an accelerated pace.
And today we are proud to have nurtured mature, resilient, and certified professionals. They not only defended their theses, but they also defended their right to a profession, to personal growth, and to a Ukrainian future.
Thank you, our graduates! For your resilience, for not giving up, and for your smiles in difficult situations.
We bow deeply to the faculty and parents who bravely weathered the challenges of war and guided the students to their final day of study!
And, of course, our deepest gratitude goes to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!
For making it possible to continue our education.
Good luck, Class of 2026—the first wartime graduating class! You are now ready for serious professional challenges. Build, create, and rebuild our Ukraine!
