New Year's Eve Celebrations at the Dmytro Yavornytsky's Estate

Carolers gathered at the estate of Dmytro Yavornytsky!

The 3rd and 4th-year students of the Theatre Department at Dnipro Art College organized New Year's Eve festivities at the memorial museum of the renowned historian. They sang Christmas songs, cheerful Ukrainian carols, and even danced with visitors. The "host of the estate," portrayed by the museum director Maxym Kavun, treated the carolers to sweets.

"Every year, students familiarize themselves with Ukrainian traditions of celebrating Christmas and New Year, prepare thematic programmes, and showcase them in various venues. This winter, they decided to organize the festivities in Yavornytsky's house," tells the head of the theatre department, Tetiana Polyak.

Our students revived the tradition of musical evenings at the estate of Dmytro Ivanovych after a two-year break.
