Maidan and Revolution | Art College Podcast (for the Day of Dignity and Freedom in Ukraine)

a

November 21st is the Day of Dignity and Freedom in Ukraine.

It was established by the Presidential decree in November 2014 "to affirm the ideals of freedom and democracy in Ukraine, to preserve and convey to current and future generations objective information about the crucial events in Ukraine at the beginning of the 21st century, as well as to pay due respect to the patriotism and courage of citizens who in the fall of 2004 and November 2013 to February 2014 stood up for democratic values, human rights and freedoms, national interests of our state, and its European choice."

However, the history of Ukrainians' struggle for their dignity and freedom spans more than one century. In the new episode of the Art College Podcast, director and acting skills instructor Hryhoriy Bohomaz-Babyi reflects on significant events in Ukraine that resonated with our college students, the brave Heroes who fought for and continue to fight for the freedom of our people, including DAC alumni (link in the first comment).
